Booking Systems Built Around Your Business Rules
A useful booking system should handle the rules behind the appointment or order. ZeroBytes helps define availability, confirmation, staff actions and failure cases, then decides with you whether a suitable existing tool or a custom build is the better fit.
Booking work we have built
Pre-orders against limited stock
Cafe Mushroom sells brisket on pre-order only. A customer picks a date and sees what is left that day, chooses cuts and weights, takes a time slot and leaves their details. A 30% deposit confirms it.
Consultation and assessment booking
On LMSC and Excel Tutors, a prospective student books a consultation or a free assessment from the course page.
Search across kinds of trip
Ghuri Ar Khai takes destination, dates, budget and party size in one search across private, group and last-minute trips, then hands over to the trip desk on WhatsApp.
The rules to define
These decide what the system costs far more than the calendar does.
- Requested or confirmed: does a person approve each booking, or is it instant?
- What limits availability: staff, rooms, equipment or stock.
- Time zones, if your customers are not all in yours.
- Cancellations and rescheduling: until when, and what happens to the money.
- Deposits and payment: whether one is needed to confirm.
- Staff access: who can add a phone booking, and who can change one.
- What happens when a payment or a notification fails.
Existing tool or custom build
A standard booking service is enough when you sell fixed-length appointments with one member of staff each. It costs less and you can start this week, and we will tell you if that is your case.
- A custom system is worth it when availability depends on stock or several resources at once.
- Or when the booking is really an order, with quantities, weights or rates.
- Or when it must share records with the rest of your business.
Scope and cost
A booking system with payments and an admin side is a web application, which starts from ৳60,000. A simple request form on a website costs far less; a platform with several resource types costs more.
- Every project includes 60 days of free fixes after launch. A fix is anything that does not work the way the written scope says it should. New features and changes to the agreed scope are quoted separately, and after the 60 days you can carry on with an optional monthly care plan or take everything over yourself.
- You own the work from day one: the code, the design files, the domain and the hosting account are in your name. Because they are yours, their renewals (the domain each year, the hosting plan, any paid third-party service) are yours to pay; we set them up and tell you what each one costs before you commit.
